The cost to fax for long distance is $3.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page while the cost for local service is $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 each additional page. All toll free numbers are $1.00 per page. All incoming faxes are 50 cents per page.
HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICE
Staff members provide delivery service for homebound residents who lack transportation or who are temporarily or permanently confined due to illness or disability. (link to form in Public Policies folder)
With the Argos Public Library’s ILL (Interlibrary Loan Service), patrons can access materials from other libraries throughout Indiana and the rest of the country. We do not charge for this service unless the materials are mailed to us through the US mail service from an out-of-state library. The cost then, is the actual mailing cost. You must hold a valid Argos Public Library card to take advantage of this service.
Interlibrary loan is a primary service that supports the mission of the library by providing enhanced access to library materials and information. The purpose of interlibrary loan is to obtain materials not available in the library and to provide materials from our collection to other libraries.
RENEW MATERIALS/DROP BOXES
Materials that are checked out may be renewed once if there are no reserves on them. Materials may be renewed by telephone during the business day. No renewals are handled by the answering machine. Please have your library tag barcode number available when renewing by telephone.
TOUR AND CLASS VISITS
Please call the library at 574-892-5818 to schedule a tour or class visit at the library.
