The Argos Public Library serves both Green and Walnut Townships which includes the town of Argos in north central Indiana.
We are easy to find, located on North Michigan Street in Argos.
Audiobooks and eBooks:
Argos Public Library is proud to offer our patrons best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks available to download 24/7 from the library's website, http://argos.lib.in.us. This service is free for library card holders who can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting our website and clicking on the OverDrive link on our Home page. More information and HELP pages can be found on our home page below the OverDrive link. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees! Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
We will be celebrating the week of March 3rd. Please visit the Children's Circulation desk on the second floor any time throughout the week to enter the candy guessing jar contest. During story time on Tuesday, March 4th (1:00 pm/family 6:30 pm) and Wednesday, March 5th (10:30 am), the Children's Department will be hosting a splendid birthday party complete with games, stories, crafts and snacks! We hope you will be able to join in on the fun and honoring Dr. Seuss!
There will be another informational meeting on
Thursday, March 20, at 5:00 for homeschooling families. We will be
discussing ways the library can be of further service to you, such
as providing quiz books links. Any ideas are welcome!
Any 4th-6th graders looking for afterschool fun ! ?

UPDATE ON HEALTH COVERAGE
"Needle Queens" will meet on March 5th and 19th- all persons interested in knitting,
crochet, cross-stitch, quilting, or other types of needlework are
invited to work on various projects and to show and tell projects
they may have already completed. The meetings will take place in the
Margaret Neff Meeting Room at 1:30 PM with stitching and visiting on
the agenda. It is not necessary to be an Argos Public Library patron
ARGOS PAGE TURNERS
The next meeting of the Argos Page Turners Book Discussion will be
held on April 3rd at 6:30 PM in the Margaret Neff Meeting Room at
the library. Discussion for the group will be on Orphan
Christina Baker Kline. Books are available now for pickup at the
library. Light refreshments will be served. We hope

If you are wanting to pursue your GED, this is the time to get onboard!
Plymouth Adult Basic Education is offering GED classes here at the Argos Public Library on Mondays from 10 am - 1 pm. Classes will meet in the Margaret Neff Meeting Room.
Combined with web-based and instructor-led sessions, you will have the opportunity to pursue the education you deserve!
