The Argos Public Library serves both Green and Walnut Townships which include the town of Argos in north central Indiana.
We are easy to find, located on 142 North Michigan Street in Argos.

Argos Public Library is proud to offer our patrons best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks available to download 24/7 from OverDrive. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, now 21 days for most items. There are no late fees! For more information, click on a link below or come in to the library.

If you are wanting to pursue your HSE (High School Equivalency), this is the time to get onboard!
Plymouth Adult Basic Education, located at the PCSC Service Center/IMESSC, 701 E. Berkley St in Plymouth, is offering HSE classes here at the Argos Public Library on Mondays from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. Classes will meet in the Margaret Neff Meeting Room.
Combined with web-based and instructor-led sessions, you will have the opportunity to pursue the education you deserve!

The 2016 Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards
National Author Winner - Karen Joy Fowler is the author of six novels and three short story collections. Consistently acclaimed by critics, most of her titles have been New York Times Notable Books and named to many best-of-year lists. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, she lives in Santa Cruz, California.
Regional Author Winner - Philip Gulley is a Quaker pastor, writer and speaker from Danville, Indiana where he lives with his wife, Joan, and two dogs, Ruby and Jack. Many of his characters and recollections are taken from his boyhood in this small Midwestern town. An eclectic writer, Gulley has now published 20 books.
Genre Excellence - Children's Picture Book Author Winner - April Pulley Sayre is an award-winning author/photo-illustrator best known for her lyrical, read aloud science. She is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and currently resides in South Bend, Indiana. Many of her works were photographed in Indiana.
