The Argos Public Library serves both Green and Walnut Townships which includes the town of Argos in north central Indiana.

We are easy to find, located on North Michigan Street in Argos.

Audiobooks and eBooks:

Argos Public Library is  proud to offer our patrons best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks available to download 24/7 from the library's website, http://argos.lib.in.us.  This service is free for library card holders who can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting our website and clicking on the OverDrive link on our Home page.  More information and HELP pages can be found on our home page below the OverDrive link.  Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period.  There are no late fees!  For more information, visit our website or come in to the library.


The Argos Public Library invites Argos residents to take advantage of our great facility… for free!! Getting a library card involves bringing a photo ID and a piece of mail with the current eligible mailing address. Be sure to sign up your children so they can enjoy the advantages of our collection and programming.

Hart's War by John Katzenbach has been selected by the Argos Page Turners as their May 2014 book discussion read. The group will meet on May 1st at 6:30 PM in the Margaret Neff Meeting Room.  Jean Hettrick will be the moderator for the evening and light refreshments will be served. Stop at the library if you would like to borrow a copy of the book and attend the discussion session.


On April 16th,  Larita Killina, author of Zimbabwe Bound: A Woman's Journey Through Africa, will speak at the Marshall County Historical Museum.  Refreshments/Social time will begin at 5:30 PM with the presentation at 6:30 PM.


If you are wanting to pursue your GED, this is the time to get onboard!

Plymouth Adult Basic Education is offering GED classes here at the Argos Public Library on Mondays from 10 am - 1 pm.  Classes will meet in the Margaret Neff Meeting Room. 

Combined with web-based and instructor-led sessions, you will have the opportunity to pursue the education you deserve!
