The Argos Public Library serves both Green and Walnut Townships which includes the town of Argos in north central Indiana.

Argos Public Library if  proud to offer our patrons best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks available to download 24/7 from the library's website, http://argos.lib.in.us.  This service is free for library card holders who can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting our website and clicking on the OverDrive link on our Home page.  More information and HELP pages can be found on our home page below the OverDrive link.  Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period.  There are no late fees!  For more information, visit our website or come in to the library.

THE FRIENDS OF THE ARGOS PUBLIC LIBRARY -- PLANT AND BAKE SALE

The Friends of APL will hold their annual Plant and Bake sale on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in front of the library from 9 AM to Noon.  Annual plants and perennials will be available to purchase as well as a wide variety of baked goods.  Donations of plants and baked goods are greatly appreciated and may be brought to the library on May 11th.  Volunteers to work at the sale are also appreciated!  If you are able to make any type of a donation, please call the library at 892-5818 and let us know. 

The sale was a complete success as all baked goods and plants were sold out.  Thanks to all those who donated items and all the shoppers who bought them.  The weather was great and a good time was had by all.
